Structuring of capital markets products for scale-up companies

Frank Ackermann, Managing Partner of AHP, responsible for structuring capital market products, has set up the business for credit-related investment products at several international banks in London and Frankfurt and developed innovative investment concepts for institutional clients.  In 2011, Frank Ackermann founded AHP Capital Management GmbH, a BaFin-regulated company that structures capital market products, in particular for scale-up companies, and provides liability umbrella functions for network partners. He is co-founder of SDG INVESTMENTS GmbH, which was formed out of AHP in 2017. As a FinTech platform, SDG INVESTMENTS GmbH mediates sustainable investments between project initiators and institutional investors.

Frank Rothauge, CFA, has been a managing partner of AHP since 2013 and is also responsible for the compliance department. As founder of Aristoteles GmbH, he determines the strategy of the AHP Aristoteles Fund. He headed TMT Research at Sal. Oppenheim for 12 years until April 2010, during which time he received several awards as Germany's best telecommunications analyst. Until October 2013, he was Director of Strategic Advisory at Berenberg Bank, where he was responsible for corporate finance consulting for clients in the technology, IT, media and telecoms (TMT) sectors. He has over 20 years of experience in research and investment banking and has advised on over 40 capital market transactions and IPOs as well as various M&A transactions.

Lars Hunsche (MBA), Managing Partner of AHP, is in charge of the business model analysis of new projects and the expansion of the institutional investor network. Lars Hunsche has over 20 years of experience in advising institutional clients, including managing director of Moody's Analytics GmbH in Frankfurt. Mr. Hunsche started his career at KMV in San Francisco after studying in the USA. After the takeover of KMV by Moody's, Mr. Hunsche worked in London and Frankfurt and was responsible for the customer-oriented further development of fair value models for credit risks and for consulting institutional clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Scandinavia. Lars Hunsche is co-founder of SDG INVESTMENTS GmbH, which emerged from AHP in 2017.

Jochen Schmidt has more than 20 years of experience in managing transactions in equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions for companies in the TMT industries. The lawyer and banker began his career in 1987 with M.M. Warburg, in 1993 he joined the corporate sector by joining Jenoptik AG.  During his active career as an investment banker, he was a reliable partner for many start-ups and entrepreneurs in the digital world, initially with Sal. Oppenheim from 1996 to 2010 and until the end of 2016 as Managing Director at Berenberg.  Jochen Schmidt has advised and supported more than 200 capital market and M&A transactions.  Today, he advises young companies on the implementation of financing rounds and exit scenarios.  He is currently a Senior Advisor for numerous companies.
